Ferroguard Assure
The wall-mounted Ferroguard product consists of a pair of sensor units which are mounted onto a wall either side of a doorway or corridor. The sensor units are interconnected via cables which run to a wall- mounted power supply (normally installed in the suspended ceiling void) which converts mains electricity to low-voltage direct current to power both units.
The wall-mounted Ferroguard system is an installed system with no user operated controls. The positioning of the system is recommended by Metrasens approved engineers and agreed with the hospital. The sensitivity is set after installation at the level agreed to by the facility manager.
